Khwai River
Situated between Chobe National Park and Moremi Game Reserve, the Khwai River is a scenic pearl of the Okavango Delta. It is home to some of Botswana’s most beautiful landscapes where a great variety of species like lions, leopards, elephants, wild dogs and buffalos roam freely.
Moremi Game Reserve
The pristine wilderness of Moremi Game Reserve towards the eastern side of the Okavango Delta makes it one of Africa’s most iconic conservation areas. Quilted with wetlands, forests, floodplains and open grassland, it supports an incredibly wide spectrum of wildlife, ranging from large herds of buffalo, wildebeest and zebra, to the rare sitatunga and lechwe antelope.
Kazuma Forest Reserve
Idyllically positioned in an ancient elephant corridor, the impressive landscape of Kazuma Forest Reserve stretches over thousands of hectares. Set out on game drives that will bring you up close and personal with the resident wildlife, including lion, leopard, sable, zebra and hundreds of different bird species.
Day 1
Greater Moremi, Botswana
OVERNIGHT: HIDEAWAYS MANKWE TENTED RETREAT, GREATER MOREMI
Upon arrival at Maun Airport, the Hideaways team will meet you and transfer you by road to Mankwe Tented Retreat, where you’ll stay for the next three nights. Once there, you’ll be welcomed by the staff and can settle in. The retreat offers a spa overlooking the bush, lounging areas, and two eco-pools for relaxation. The next few days will include a mix of exploration and downtime.

Day 2 & 3
Greater Moremi, Botswana
OVERNIGHT: HIDEAWAYS MANKWE TENTED RETREAT, GREATER MOREMI
Over the next two days, explore the wildlife and landscapes of our concession with a range of activities. Enjoy game drives through Mankwe's private concession, the pristine Chobe Corridor, or the Moremi Game Reserve, each offering its own unique experience. A highlight of your stay will be a mokoro (dugout canoe) excursion on the Khwai River, providing a unique view of Africa's wildlife from the water. After a day of exploration, return to the retreat to relax and unwind with its peaceful surroundings, inviting lounges, and refreshing eco-pools.

Day 4
Okavango Delta, Botswana
OVERNIGHT: DELTA CAMP, OKAVANGO DELTA
After a scrumptious breakfast in Mankwe's lush surroundings, you will be transferred by road to the Khwai Airstrip for your charter flight to Delta Camp. Get your first glimpse of the Okavango Delta’s vast expanse and its crystal-clear channels, lagoons, sweeping floodplains and countless islands. Over the next three days, you can explore this area on foot and on mokoro excursions.
Day 5 & 6
Okavango Delta, Botswana
OVERNIGHT: DELTA CAMP, OKAVANGO DELTA
Peace and tranquillity are at the order of the day at Delta Camp, situated on the southwestern edge of Chief’s Island in the heart of the Okavango Delta. Discover the spectacular array of fauna and flora species, including more than 450 different birds, during your stay on the palm-studded island. Get to know your guides on a personal level with a visit to the local village.
Day 7
Chobe, Botswana
OVERNIGHT: HIDEAWAYS CAMP KUZUMA, CHOBE
With body, mind and soul satisfied, you will fly to Kasane Airport. After arrival, enjoy a delectable lunch before taking to the water for a cruise on the spectacular Chobe River (dependent on arrival time). Following your water safari, you will be transferred to Camp Kuzuma where you will spend the next three nights. The first afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure - on your own private deck, at the pool with a refreshing drink or on an afternoon game drive on our concession.
Day 8 & 9
Chobe, Botswana
OVERNIGHT: HIDEAWAYS CAMP KUZUMA, CHOBE
Your stay at Camp Kuzuma in our 11 000-hectare concession will bring exhilarating wildlife encounters as animals crisscross this wilderness in abundant numbers. It is regarded as the world’s busiest elephant corridor as these members of the Big Five make their way through the lush surroundings. Other animals like lions, buffalo and various plains game roaming the Chobe area mostly undisturbed and game drives will bring a myriad of sightings.
Day 10
Departure
Your spectacular Botswana Delta safari ends after breakfast. Our friendly team will make sure you are transferred to Kasane Airport in time for your departure flight. We look forward to welcoming you on one of our other exceptional African adventures in the future!
