Day 1: Arrival in Arusha – Welcome to Tanzania!

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), you will be warmly
welcomed by a professional Safari Box Adventures representative.
You will then be transferred in a comfortable private 4x4 safari vehicle to the elegant African Tulip Hotel
in Arusha. This boutique hotel blends modern comfort with authentic Swahili charm.
Spend the remainder of the day at leisure relax after your international flight, enjoy a refreshing
welcome drink, take a short walk in Arusha town, or unwind by the swimming pool.
In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner at the hotel’s restaurant while preparing for your safari
adventure ahead.
Day 2: Arusha → Ngorongoro Crater – Full Day Game Drive
Meals: Breakfast, Picnic Lunch, Dinner
Accommodation: Hando Coffee Lodge – Karatu
After an early breakfast, depart with your experienced safari driver–guide toward the spectacular
Ngorongoro Crater, part of the renowned Ngorongoro Conservation Area and a UNESCO World Heritage
Site.
Descend approximately 600 meters into the crater floor for a breathtaking full-day game drive. The
crater is home to one of Africa’s densest wildlife populations and offers excellent chances of spotting the
Big Five:
Lion
Elephant
Buffalo
Leopard
Black Rhino
You may also encounter zebras, wildebeests, hippos, hyenas, flamingos, and many bird species.
Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch near the hippo pool before continuing your wildlife exploration.
Later in the afternoon, ascend the crater walls and drive to Karatu town, where you will check in at
Hando Coffee Lodge, nestled among lush coffee plantations. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 3: Karatu → Serengeti Central (En-Route Game Drive)
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Accommodation: Safari Haven Camp – Central Serengeti
After breakfast, journey through the Ngorongoro highlands toward the legendary Serengeti National
Park.
Enjoy wildlife viewing en route as the landscape transitions into the vast open plains of the Serengeti.
Arrive in the Central Serengeti (Seronera region) in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive.
This region is famous for:
Resident lion prides
Leopards resting in acacia trees
Cheetahs scanning the plains
Large herds of herbivores
In the evening, arrive at Serengeti Wilderness Camp, where you will experience an authentic tented
safari atmosphere with modern comforts. Enjoy dinner under the stars surrounded by the natural
sounds of the African bush.
Day 4–5: Central Serengeti – Explore the Endless Plains
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Accommodation: Safari Haven Camp
Spend two full days exploring the heart of the Serengeti ecosystem. Your guide will customize daily game
drives based on wildlife movements and seasonal highlights.
Depending on the time of year, you may witness parts of the Great Migration thousands of wildebeests
and zebras moving across the plains in search of fresh grazing.
Wildlife experiences may include:
Predator action sightings
River crossings (seasonal)
Elephant herds
Giraffes and antelopes
Stunning African sunsets
